GPS non-functional in ATS

My gps in my ats 2015 still doesn't work. Is there any solution from Cadillac?

Some cars were not equipped with standalone navigation and you had to subscribe to OnStar or whatever to actually be able to use it (activated per instance). I know some things have changed with OnStar so I don't know how this works (or doesn't) anymore but just a suggestion to check your car's equipment.

It is an odd thing? My sisters,2016 Chevy Impala has Navigation, but it only works when you call On-Star for the directions. And in Rural areas, it doesn't seem to work very well if you don't have phone service.
The on start fit 2 g net work is no longer in existence so it will not work till they come out w update there are no towers to support the software they said a year and half ago they were going to have update yet still I havent heard of one yet
