2004 3.6 CTS, only 26,800 miles and noticed grease leaking from both rear CV boots. Took it into dealer who said the rear axles need to be replaced. Good thing it's still under warranty, but I'll be without my car for 2 days.

How can the rear axels go bad in 2 years and 27,000 mostly conservative miles? Is this GM talking or just a fluke? I dunno, but I thought American cars were making a comeback, so I thought...:crying2:

You should at least get a Caddy to drive while yours is in the shop.

Also, every car line and manufacturer may have an occassional problem that does not mean it is indicative of the entire product line.

Hope yours is that case...
