Took 2 days (Austin, TX to Maryland) - stopped in Tennessee for the night.

The car is awesome. Raven black with tan interior. Averaged just about 70MPH and got an average of 24 MPG over the trip. Very happy with the gas mileage. My Saab 9'5 Aero with a turbo 4 cylinder is only marginally better.

I was very comfortable the whole time. Seats are comfy, XM was a great companion, the climate control kept the car temperate and the nav system provided good directions.

I never pushed very hard until I was back in Maryland and then launched it relatively hard from a light and surprised myself pretty good with just how darn fast this car is. It's an incredible wolf in sheep's clothing. I'd just driven 1500+ miles and only at the end did I really get a sense of what it can do.

Glad to be part of the CTS-V family and am very pleased to have it join my family. When's the next V get together in the DC area??
