Got in a wreck

Well I have only had the CTS for 2 months and got rear-ended... Here's the funny part! It was by my Girlfriend! She was following me home from work because she just got in town from Gainesville and I stopped at a light and she did'nt see me stop lol... So I need a bumper, trunk, exhaust..

$2300 for each car (damage). Caddy paint is about $450 for that bumper. (Those prices are with a discount at a very experienced shop.)

Glad you 2 are ok.

That being said............tell her to stop driving if she can't see a car in front of her stop.

Yeah... good luck with that. You're looking at a repaint of the bumper, trunk, and probably 2 quarter panels. Diamond white is a b!tch to match. I hope it only costs you $2500 for that. My guess would be closer to $5k.

Ouch!!! Well the insurance is going to be paying for it.. and we are not on the same insurance yet lol!! I just dropped it off at the cadillac dealership tonight so I have to go back up tomorrow and sign I am sure. We had to get her car towed back to gainesville

. She is living there for the summer its where she is from. So its like $240 for towing, $117 for ticket, and $500 for her ded. I was trying to get her to let me help her I know I am whipped but she will not let me so oh well...

Glad you two are not injured, those accidents are scary...

If it makes you feel better that happened with CadillacSTS2003 (Jay) and me. He was riding my ass in his dad's STS and I didn't know it was him (we had only been dating for 3 days at this point, December 2004). So I sped up trying to lose him. I then called his cell and no answer. So at the upcoming stop sign, I stopped then hit the gas. There was a porsche boxster turning infront of me halfway in both lanes, I floored it thinking he would turn but no the dumbass hit his brakes seeing an oncoming car and I rear ended the porsche. Moral of the story, don't ride your significant other's bumper and pay attension on how far apart you are from each other :thumbsup: I don't dare ever ride his caddy's bumber for fear of my own life :lol:

Oh and we ended up paying our own damages coz I told the cop he didn't have his turn signal (which was true)
