These cars do not look their age because of their sleek lines and classic style. When people ask the year of mine, they are surprised when I tell them it's 11 years old this year. Looks like you found a real nice one. Thanks for sharing about it. Enjoy your new ride.

I agree its a sleek design. The three years I had my 2018 Impala I honestly never paid much attention to Cadillac. When I discovered this car shared platforms with that one, I took a closer look. I told my wife multiple times, if the Impala had been AWD I might have kept it because it was an excellent, reliable machine. I hope this one lives up to the lineage. I've been accumulating mod parts and looking forward to putting my personal touch on "Selina"

I’m sorry if this winds up in the wrong place but when I request a new thread the menu makes to choose a group but the only xts group listed is xts v-sport and I own a non turbo xts so I’m sorry if this is posted in the wrong group.

She’s a beauty. What’s the mileage?

101,000 never had a cel. I was lucky the dealer I bought from sold the car new to an elderly couple who served the xts at the dealer for the life of the car. Never smoked no food stains. The interior is perfect. The car is a pleasure to drive.

Current vehicles: 2008 Cadillac EXT & 2015 Cadillac XTS

I have owned Cadillacs since 1989 and love them Bought my 2015 XTS in 2017 from Cadillac dealer with 3K miles on it, now have 117K. Have never had any problem, but I do all regular service thru the dealer. It is a wonderful car, plenty of power and decent gas mileage.

I picked out this 2017 XTS to replace my spouses totaled Town Car in 2022. It seemed like the logical successor to the 235HP V8 boat. And I loved the styling on these cars since Motor Trend featured them in 2014.

The problem is, it was unsatisfying to my better half. After 20+ years of RWD Lincolns, it just didn't measure up.

So, we bought a big blobby SUV and we kept the XTS for my driver.

This thing feels like a nicely equipped go kart after years in the Panther cars.

Like others, my dealer experience has been uneven. I try hard to sort things out myself to avoid unnecessary friction.

I liked it better when all you had to worry about was scratching for the cash or credit to settle the bill. And then you just picked your car up all serviced and all washed with no surprises.

It's an Executive Big Sedan - tight in curves at higher speeds...like on rails, comfortable ride, corners like a compact sedan, classy and well appointed inside and out.
The XTS is front wheel drive based platform, but the AWD handles nothing like a front wheel drive car (or rwd). I would never go back to anything but AWD (my 2nd one - both Cadi's).

What's up? Newly registered, been lurking for years. Here's my baby. 2013 Premium. I hit a pothole earlier this summer, and it was only about $500 more to get a new set of wheels than it was to replace the cracked one. 7 spoke 20 X 8.5 Motivs. The Vogues were a little more, but well worth the money. 245/40/20's View attachment 646056 View attachment 646057 View attachment 646058
Those are sharp, and then you really fixed it with the gold-striped Vogues! Do the wheels remind anyone else of the 2002 Collector Edition Eldorado 7 spokes?

I bought this 2013 XTS-4 Premium in 2021 about a month after my wife died (malpractice), color is Sapphire Blue. Sapphire is my birthstone (September), and we were married in September. It had around 90k miles, it has around 173000 miles now. The CarFax showed it was in a right-rear collision in 2014, but it is impossible to tell from looking at it! The only issues it has are the headlight aiming ($1500 each at dealer), HMI ($750 before labor), CD player is dead and rear window shade is broken (don't care about either). Since buying it, I've replaced the Torque Converter, Starter, repaired the A/C system, refinished the wheels, replaced the radiator (I think that was caused by the mechanic working on the A/C so it was free), battery replaced twice (once when it finished its life, and when the replacement went bad under warranty), and I just replaced the tires. Other things replaced are wipers and oil when it gets to 10%.

On that note, I just bought a set of Firestone tires at Firestone Complete Auto Care, they have a 50k mile warranty, as well as paid for lifetime alignment ($40 off) and road hazard. Tire reviews say they don't last 50k miles, I look at it another way: if the tires fail before 50k, I get replacements, meaning I paid for a set of 8 tires for $1300! That price is before the $160 rebate coming in 2.5 months. The tires I had on it before were Goodyear Eagle Run-Flat, they had tread separation around 10k miles after the warranty ended (40k warranty).

So, I think I can double or triple the miles (or make it to 1'000'000 miles) and keep it looking great, and maybe the depreciation will stop as people will look at this car as a steal (looking like a $14k car even though it is worth 25% of that). But, because it is essentially a memorial to my wife, the only way I will get rid of it is if the engine blows, frame rusts away, or a Florida driver slams into it.
