I like the idea of gaining one more year and giving up 30,000 mile. Right now I am at the end of 5 years and have 56,000 miles so it would be a good deal if I had a 2012 or newer.
Cadillac powertrain warranty in USA went from 5 years 100,000 miles for 2012 and older to 6 years 70,000 miles for 2013 and newer.

I think GM's new warranty is lined up with rest of the competition, the years and mileage matched up to other automakers other than Hyundai and Kia. I think warranty was a huge selling point for Hyundai and Kia at least, 5 years 60k miles bumper to bumper is hard to beat.
