just got back from the show, and boy were there GM cars. I guess GM donated 100 cars to the production, and not a single one returned! Unfortunate what happened to the CTS

Movie worth the ticket price? I didn't see the movie but saw a clip when Morpheus shoots up the Escalade and one of the twins is trying to get out. Maybe I'll go catch an early show this next Monday.

ya, check it out...the movie is poorly paced i.e. some slow moments, too much dialogue, and then some good action, but it's worth it if you liked the original.

Yeha i saw the movie last night, it was pretty good. I m sure itll be the best movie of the summer. Only problem is the ending, its quite abrupt! But thats why the third one is coming out in November. Anyway the movies great but it leaves you with a "Boy that was the longest preview i have ever seen" sort of feeling

If it's any consolation, it looked like most of them were just junkers.
When the Matrix special agent jumped on the hood of the Oldsmobile Intrigue and the car flipped over, I saw that doors had no panels and when they had a side shot, it had crash bars in it.
I hate, though, that they trashed a whole lot of Caprice cars, the ones they DO NOT make anymore
Of course they couldn't do that with some Crown Vics of which about 168760519646546051654654054 produced every freaking day and many more will be produced in the future. Nooooo.
That brings me to a next thread, see it later.

Yeah that Canuck Keaneau is a pretty good actor, eh? My friend, a movie nut, just told me that for some of the car scenes, no city would let them film on city streets so they actually BUILT their own 12 miles of road just for this movie!!

yeah I saw it, I loved it how when they were in the parking garage and it was loaded with Caddys.... a few 70's DeVilles, I saw a 50's DeVille and/or Series 62, one of the 70's DeVilles got shot up alittle (damn sob ) then you see the new CTS haul a$$ outta there...... I like the CTS, I think it's a nice car, but I am glab they didn't just wreck it up, they completly ran it to the ground, it kept going, and going and going, after like 5000 bullets, 1 flat tire, smashed into walls/cars etc... no roof and much more, it kept going.... then finally blew up when the Esclade blew up...... but I loved the scene with the CTS, and even to someone who has no idea what car is what, you can clearly see in many of the angles that it's a Caddy

Oh great Panther, thanks for ruining it for me!! LOL What ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT Devil, I've known 2 people with Pontiacs (myself not included) that caught on fire, 1 from a faulty carburator. I've never heard of Fords catching fire unless it was a Pinto. Even BMW was recalling the 1991 735i for gas tanks somehow starting fires!

I can't think of any other movie pushing the GM cars that heavily made since last Matrix installment.
