Has anyone used this shock setup on a CTS?

How harsh are they?

Opinions?

They are an expensive set of shocks, just wondered what the experiences were with these.
From what I have found this is a discontinued part. 12499241

Thanks in advance.

The CTS-V has the magnetic ride control. I won't say you can't, but it will be a boatload easier to just buy a V. As far as harshness, I love it. I have both a standard CTS w/performance package and a V. The V suspension is a dream.

Thanks,
I didn't realize these were for magnetic ride control. They were listed as a performance replacement.... FG2 I believe.
Found a decent deal on a new set, but was trying to find some info on them before considering a purchase.

I would have bought a V, but living in snowy PA, I have no use for another "fair weather vehicle" with rear wheel drive.
Got an AWD vehicle as a compromise, so I can drive it in all but the worst weather. Now if I they would only make an AWD CTS-V...

That idea has been the subject of some lively conversations on the V forum lately.
