Is there a list of proprietary GM OBD II codes? In doing my monthly checkup my code reader reported B3110. Body Control Module. Using Google I come up with at least three wildly different results, ranging from transmission, ant-lock and electronic suspension faults. One site reports low battery voltage at the ignition switch for the key fob, which in my case is the correct diagnosis.

As an aside, it also reported a stored P0711 which is for the transmission fluid temperature sensor that threw a code a coupe of weeks ago and for which I'm waiting on parts. Curiously, since I cleared that code two weeks ago the CEL has not come back on.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much, but note the code in question, B3110, isn't listed. Nevertheless, the transmission code is listed. Joy.

Use a different scanner or have the vehicle scanned at any parts store.
