I got my new wheels today, will have them installed on car by thursday if the dealer will get my new shifter installed by then (national backorder they say)

question; the wheels did not come with center caps??? do i need to order them separate?? does anyone know the part #

I may sell my stockers. does anyone want them, i have the R/F on them with 8k miles but a lot of tread left id say over 60-70% ( i will measure if needed). or i could sell them with out the tires as well.
does $300 each with tires sound resonable??

pics to come soon.... i bought 255/45/18 bridgestone s-03 pole pos. tires for all 4 corners. Hope i like the ride vs. R/F's

Mine came bare bones. Why aren't you going to transfer over? They ain't cheap.

CAP 17800014

I mounted 255/35/ZR18 Dunlop Race Tires. Ride much better than R/F

I'll tell ya, $300 each with decent runflats is a very good price, ESPECIALLY if the wheels are near perfect condition. Ebay has them for $399 (bare bones, I believe). You won't have a problem selling them regardless.

would like to see yours when you get them mounted. Definately need rotors painted and not half rusted like mine were. I chose to paint black. Next set I'm getting powder coated. Kinda wished I would have painted the inner smooth rim black leaving the offset spokes and outer ring polished Al. I think it may have made the spokes stand out more.

Are you transferring TPS etc? My "friend" chose to buy entire set to run race rubber on to save the F1's. "He" was particularly interested in knowing the TP in light of no spare and how hot they get on the track. This lower profile dropped the car almost 3/4". Picked up a couple hundred r's in 6th.

I coated well with Rejex and rinse with simple green and soft brush.

I wish Moore Cadillac or Lindsay would offer us a group purchase on the GM optional wheels. I'm getting another set of 7 spoke stock wheels to have powder coated. Hopefully these will hold up better than the painted GM stockers.

i bought new tp sensors because i was not 100% on the sale of the stockers at the time and thought i would keep them-widen them- chrome them and have a 2nd set, but i don't think that will be worth all the money. I'll wait and see how i like the new tires (255's) and quality of ride compared to the R/F- I have high hopes though.

I'm most likely going to stick with the stock silver, but I am going to review the color pallet. Something might jump out at me. Since I have two sets I was thinking if someone wanted a set of black rims I'd get that done for them and ship them to a forum member. If not I'll just to set of powder coated ones in the stock color.

How much are those doublespokes? Very nice looking!
A forum member found a dealer willing to do $1,200. That's a very nice price. Remember though, these are polished wheels and not chrome.
