glass breakage

i was walking back in from lunch and heard a pop, turned around and the back hatch glass was shattered on my ESV.

i called the dealer and they said there was nothing they could do for it.

then called safelite autoglass and they told me 929 bucks because it has OnStar... :annoyed:

has anyone else had any back hatch glass problems out of the blue like this?

i might could understand if it was 110 degrees outside and it shattered, but rainy and 50 degrees should not cause that.
