Actually......some of my pals did that when i was at college....they couldnt get his car to start, so they borrowed my Cortina since it had a 2.0 engine, bigger than the 1.6 and 1.8 Cortinas they all had, and towed this kids car, except the little ring that the rope goes through was rusted, and snapped, so they sent a car flying odd on its own, straight into a field

Kev, sorry I forgot to sign that one. Shouldn't have given it to you in the first place but I can only hear 'teenagers are the root of all societal problems' so much in one week.
i showed that vid to a friend of mine who owns a saturn last year. the next day she got stuck and was totally freaking that the same thing was going to happen to her! As for picking it up, i'd be carefull, those saturns have plastic fenders. In highschool some friends and i tried to pick up and move one of the teachers cars, a fiero (he insisted it got its name b/c it was a cross between a ferrari and a camaro). those have a fiberglass body and just as the tires started to lift up, one of the front fenders almost let loose!!! we could barely keep from laughing a couple of days later when he started complaining about how much his paint was cracking!
That's one of my favourite videos of all time!
What makes it especially funny is that they didn't attach the line to the bumper, it's actually taken off part of the rear subframe.
