Getting used to my new ride

I've had my car for a few weeks now. It's a 1992 Fleetwood hearse. First hearse I've owned, and it's been on my wish list for a long time. I really consider myself more of a RWD car kind of guy, but when I found this car, it was way too nice for the price, and only an idiot would pass up on it. Incidently, I have also always wanted a Cadillac also. It was nice to fulfill two items from my wish list in the same car!

I've been thinking about what I want to do to the car. I have to find a way to make the rear doors open from the inside, then afterward, I'll cut part of the table out of the back and install seats. I'm going to make it more of a family car, so we can road-trip in it.

My idle has been a little rough, so I got to poking around in the forums and under the hood. Between here and some other sites, I was able to determine that my throttle body was dirty and my egr tubes needed a good cleaning. Well, it probably wasn't that thorough of a cleaning, but I made an attempt. I'd say the idle has improved a great deal, and after a test drive, my mileage seems to be improving, though it'll take more driving to see if the mileage really improved or it was coincidental to the drive I made. Hopefully I'll be updating this thread in a few days with good results!

So far, this seems like a really great site. I'm kind of a forum junkie, so I usually know a good one when I see it. I think this one is gonna work out very well for me personally!

Sounds cool ,can't wait to see some pics. It should be the ultimate travel cruiser.
Sounds interesting.
I agree with the pictures being needed.
I've tried to post a pic somewhere, but it's in limbo at the moment, waiting for moderator approval. So I don't even know if I posted it right yet. But they will come, I promise!
