im getting my old car back! not my Fleetwood. im getting my Cutlass back. well hopefully, the loan should go through, i cant imagine it not. anyway, not quite three years ago i traded my first car for a 1984 Olds Cutlass Supreme Brougham. it was/ is a lowrider. had alot of problems though. didnt have a steering wheel cover so if you wanted to honk the horn you had to touch the wire to the metal :ill: , no power steering, hole in the trunk from where it was channeled, the exhaust leaked through cause there was no pipe to run it out, that meant the windows had to be down when driving, to roll the windows down... well lets just say you had to pass the whatever back and forth to get them down (they were broke off and the other was missing), power seats didnt work, interior was tore up, no fender wells, the front end was primer, and it didnt have any material whatsoever on the top. also it was an open title. well i got the title worked out but all the other problems persisted. well i sold it to a friend of mine and he sold it to another friend of ours. he put alot of work into it, new interior, exhaust, power steering, new paint, better hydraulics, power steering, power seats, power door locks, a cover for the steering wheel. he basically tore it down and rebuilt it. well now he wants to work on his 64 Impala and is selling it. he wanted 4k but offered it to me for 2,5k so i filled out a loan application today and am going to hand it in tommorrow. hopefully by friday ill have my baby back. i cant wait, its driving me crazy. first thing ill do is get some pics of it so everyone can see it. well that is if i can get cheap enough insurance. it is only going to be drove on weekends/ holiday's/ special events. so its not gonna be driven much and i dont want to pay an extreme amount for just a weekend cruiser. so all, wish me luck!
