Anyone change the differential gear ratio? I see it's mentioned often on Camaro site.

According to this http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/2008-2013-cadillac-cts-performance-mods/264465-axle-ratio.html the 3.70/3.91 that fits the Camaro won't fit the CTS rear. So it seems you're stuck with the 3.23, 3.42 or 3.73

Guess I need to start with finding out what gear ratio I have

Check your RPO codes. GU5=3.23 GU6=3.42 and GT4 I believe is the 3.73

If you have all wheel drive is a rear end gear still a possibility?

You would have to change the front gearing to match, and AFAIK the only factory option for AWD was 3.23
