I also received studs from summit racing. All I got is a hat though.
The gaskets also came in today from jegs.

My brother said I paid too much for the "screws".

Looking good urb,
I got two boxes from Summit today as well. One box was the wrong ones I ordered and thaks to Dan for pointing it out to me I ordered the right ones later that day. Both boxes came in and I had to bring the wrong ones back to FedEx to ship them back. I think I will go out in the garage in a little bit and put the studs in.. I should be getting the 02 bungs welded in the first of the week. The welders that do stainless were gone all this week doing a job at a shut down, I hope they are back on monday so I can get this baby back together..

I haven't had good luck with anti-seize as a lubricant, as a don't get stuck remove me later, yes. Plus A.S. gets everywhere you don't want it. ARP has some good sheit.

I got my Percy gaskets and ARP studs today from Jegs as well. I have an appointment with Rick to get a tune the last week of October. Hoping it will all come together and I will get a chance to run it down the track with these mods and break into the 12's. Honestly though, I don't think it's going to happen. The charge for the headers hasn't shown up on my CC yet so that means they haven't shipped. The exhaust took about 10 days to get here, so it will be cutting it close.

I may need to take a road trip south this winter to find an open track :)

You can always head down to Englishtown, NJ. Hell I might even join you for the trip and we could run 12's side by side....

How long do you reckon it's going to take to put those in? I'm working on cleaning out my garage, and may try a few little things like this. When I took the pcm out for its trip to MN, I left the car in the driveway on jackstands, for one day. Wife and neighb's weren't very amused. One of them told me they weren't sure if I just didn't give a damn, or if I was trying to antagonize them. I told them both. Wife called me a *******. I told her I've worked hard for a long time to earn that title. Anyways, any other work like that that's gonna take more than an hour or two, I guess I better do inside.

I would say you should be able to do it in about 5 hours total the first time. I have about 1 hour and 45 minutes (after I had the car on the ramps with jack stands) into taking everything off and getting the studs in. I figure about another 2 to 2 1/2 hours to put it all back together once I get some new 02 sensors. Putting things together always takes longer, torque everything, maybe even 3 hours to get it all back together.. Still should be under a five hour job with no lift in my opinion..

This man is speaking the truth!
Unlike, the platinum V owners who claim that platinum is the fastest. :thepan:
The ONLY reason platinum owners believe their's is the fastest is because when they arrived to buy the black V - it was already gone.

So, in part, they are telling the truth. Platinum is the fastest V they have owned or seen - simply because they've never seen a black ('cept in a fast pass where they couldn't even identify the UFO) :stirpot:
