I've had mine for a couple months now... kinda like 2 slotted L-shaped brackets? I thought it was something old meant to reinforce the stock tensioner. Guess i should install it now, speaking of maggie belts...guess ill start a new thread

Magna Charger has come out with a (minor) upgrade/update to their maggie kit.
This upgrade relates to a small bracket that attempts to provide further stability to the belt tensioner, thereby, hopefully, increasing belt life (as the tensioner can flex at times, resulting in additional strain on the belt). It's a fairly simple bracket that is adjustable and connects the bracket to the engine block.
The upgrade is free. I picked mine up today.

Mine came with a little instruction manual, but again since i bought mine used i assumed it must have been an old part. Maybe i should go ahead and put it on.. Could help with my little squealing issue, doubt it but it;s worth a shot! I get to it this weekend and put up some pics unless someone beats me to it.

I'm waiting for tech support at Magnuson to call back regarding my belt; it's riding up about 3 mm (1/8") onto the drive pulley flange/lip/shoulder/whatever.

Three months waiting? And here I was about to post how good their customer service seemed to be.
