I have a 1996 Cadillac Seville. I started smelling gas, so I checked under the hood. There's a pin hole in the nylon gas line about an inch or two below the clips where it connects to the metal line that goes to the fuel injectors, it's the upper line. The nylon fuel line looks like it's heat skrinked over the metal line where they connect. Is there a way to cut the pin hole section and connect a new section of line without taking the whole line out? I'm assuming the line goes back to the fuel pump and I'd really like to avoid dropping the tank if there's a way around it. I've used gator connectors in the middle of a fuel line and they work great, but I'm not sure I have enough room for one. I'd like to cut out the line below the heat shrink right at the pin hole and put some sort of connector in there to connect the line back, but not sure what would work best. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
