Any one replaced a fuel injector on the 2.0T motor? If so where are they located? I got a check engine light and started missing. Put the scanner on it and got P0301 and P050D. The care is just shy of 60k so I did plugs and swapped the coil packs. The P0301 did not go away or move to another cylinder. Researching the P050D leads me down the fuel supply road. I got a new injector for it and maybe I'm stupid but I don't see the fuel rail where I would think it should be. I have a All Data subscription for the car but they are basically worthless for a breakdown process or even a diagram of the motor. The location in their description says middle of the motor over the cylinder, but it sure isn't there unless it is under the valve cover.

Thanks if Advance,

Tyson

I have a '13 2.0T also but I've never had a fuel injector issue. What do you think caused it? I've used only BP Premium and occasionally run Lucas Fuel System treatment thru it, like maybe every 5th fill up.

@TJM2.0T did you manage to replace it? Did it solve your issue.
I has P30x and replacing the coil+spark didn’t completely solve the issue. So I suggested that it might be the injector too. Do I need to open the head of the engine?
get all data... And yes you have to dig a bit but 'locations' section can get you started

Vehicle » Engine, Cooling and Exhaust » Engine » Locations

or try the search function.

relevant sections for this discussion:

Vehicle » Powertrain Management » Fuel Delivery and Air Induction » Fuel Injector » Testing and Inspection

Vehicle » Engine, Cooling and Exhaust » Engine » Service and Repair » Overhaul » Repair Instructions » Fuel Rail and Injectors Removal

Vehicle » Engine, Cooling and Exhaust » Engine » Service and Repair » Overhaul » Repair Instructions » Fuel Rail and Injectors Installation

intake has to be removed. special tools "required".

assuming they are available and compatible, injectors are $80ea, fuel rail is $120...
