Just wondering what others here are seeing for mileage. I have about 1700 miles on the clock now and have an average of 15.7 MPG. I drive about 50 miles per day of which probably 40 of that is highway at 75-85 mph. I undestand that I shouldn't expect much from a 550 h.p. car but 15.7 seems kind of crappy. Have any of you guys with mods noticed any increase in MPG?

With 13 city/19 highway EPA your combined should be actually 15 MPG FLAT. U are getting better than EPA estimates:)

Now compare that to the M5's 13MPG combined and U will see that U are actually doing damn good, especially considering that U have 56 More Ponies than that car. BTW.. your Fuel economy will actually improve after about 5K.

Personally... I never considered driving it as a Daily Driver. I have a G6 3.5L for that... and it gives me about 34 on the Highway and 21 in the city. The CTS-V is a SUPER-CAR... Fuel Eocnomy is not why U would purchase one of those:cookoo:

Cruising home from the dealer at 70 mph I was getting "instant" 20 on flat highway. Check out Wait4Me's Utube section. He has one video where he installed mods and was getting mid-20s at 60 mph.

I have a bit over 1500 miles as of today and my average mileage the last three tanks is 15.5. This is in mixed 50-50 freeway/city driving, and even includes some goofing off like onramp launches in M mode. I expect the mileage to improve as the engine ages.

I agree with the comment that life is too short to daily drive this puppy, that's why I bought it. It sure isn't going to be a garage queen like my S2000.

Mine is 16.5, mostly interstate, no traffic. My V1 on the same cycle was 18.9...not bad for 40% more power. Before when I lived closer to work and did no interstate, the V1 was 13.9...so I can only image what the V2 would do...

Im averaging around 24-26 now with mods. The more i have been adding to it, the higher it gets it seems. Kinda like the car is rewarding me for giving it attention. :)

Thank you for giving this car attention. Maybe it's time for me to mod if it will improve mileage that much. I'm shocked anyone is getting that kind of mileage out of this car.

Edit: Jesse, of all the mods you made to your V2, what would you say is the one that improved mileage the most? The tunes or the parts? That would help a lot of people here. I definitely don't worry about the mileage in this car, but a significant improvement in mileage as you describe certainly cannot be ignored.
