got in my 96 deville the other morning and when i turned the ignition the fuel door and trunk opened. has this happened to anyone or do i just have a ghost in my machine?

Damn, that's been happening to me lately too! I thought I might be bumping the button on the remote while I was turning the ignition. My gas door sticks so I haven't noticed if it was unlocking too.

Freaking battery huh? What next!

My friend had this problem, there was alot of corrosion in the fusebox in the engine compartment, and that caused the fuel door and trunk to open at random intervals when the key was in the ignition (like starting up and running). But it could also be low voltage on the battery :yup:
