The front tonneau sensor looks like it might be failing. When I have the tech 2 in data mode, the sensor flips between closed and mid position with the tonneau closed. if I operate the trunk right after a relearn, no issues, once I operate the top, no trunk function. I assume it thinks it is in the middle of a top operation, so no trunk operation. sometimes the top won’t go past the front tonneau open, i just reverse the sequence and try again and usually can get it to work. I was watching on the Tech II and the top wouldn’t go past the tonneau open, let off the open switch, the sensor went from mid to closed, pushed the open switch and it finished the operation.
my question is, on a post on another site I thought I saw a comment that the position sensors were interchangeable. Not sure, perhaps read it wrong. The sensor I have is 19210515. Any advice someone can give would be helpful.

Just an update. Replaced the front tonneau sensor, completed a relearn and everything works fine now. The issue began with trunk not operating with the remote or other switches. Had to use the top raise/lower button to open and close the trunk. The front tonneau sensor would show it was in the mid position so I assume the TCM assumed the top operation had not been completed. Top operation takes priority, so the trunk buttons must be disabled while top bring open or closed. Works perfectly now that the new sensor installed and verified it reads closed after top operation complete (with Tech II).
