I'm looking to replace the front struts along with the coils/springs. I put these on almost a year ago to replace whatever was on there: SACHS Shock Absorber Gas Opel/Vauxhall Front - 312 294 SACHS Shock Absorber Gas Opel/Vauxhall Front - 312 294 | eBay I think the original springs were left on the strut but I'm not sure. There is an audible knocking sound when going over a bump and they also bottom out sometimes. I put on SACHS shocks on the back and they were awful as well so I think that's the culprit. I switched them out for Koni's and everything works great in the back now - Just the front is left to fix.

I have found posts that are 8 years old on the forum but those parts are hard to find. I don't need sport struts/coils but I would buy them if they're the only ones. Any recommendations would help so a list of parts is really what I'm looking for. If I have to replace the strut mounts, other parts etc let me know. Thanks.

Check your sway bar links, they go bad sometimes and making that annoying clunking. Also could be vertical control arm bushing. Does car swing to either side with hard breaking? If so its vertical bushing. I have GTO coils and struts.. But it requires some sway bar links customization, not bolt ons since they have different top mount type, and it drops front end too.
