So I talked to the dealer today about the front park assist camera install. They said it is a quick flash once installed to activate it. So the next owner wanted that feature so I just purchased the park assist camera for 120 bucks and will install it in a couple weeks when it arrives it plugs right in they flash it and it is active and the vehicle gets 360 surround vision and all done without having to order a trim level above what you may want to.

This is great news, please keep us posted regarding the easy of installation of the camera and how it goes having the software flashed to enable the 360 surround vision.

 

I will for sure. I will try and make an install video for it as well.

 

Lyriq isn't like prior GM's - would need to be added to the vehicle config for additional modules to be activated. Dealer can program modules, but if the option isn't enabled by GM for that VIN, you can't enable this.

 

Well hopefully they sort it out as they looked it up and with my vin and said it can be activated so we will see when it arrives I guess. I am moreso interested in getting it on the lift and tinkering with it honestly. Pulling the under belly pans and looking around at the underpinnings

 

wondering if the harness even has the connector for it.....

 

Guess it doesn't matter as bro jumped ship for the Blazer.
