My SRX makes creaking and knocking sounds at low speeds. The creaking sounds only occur while the brakes are applied at medium pressure, however, the knocking sounds occur especially when turning at low speeds and over bumps and appear to occur in response to body flexes. I am not able to recreate any of the noises at standstill.

Recently I have replaced brake rotors and pads as well as outer tie rods and sway bar links, but the noises persist. I would like to hear if anyone else has had these issues and what it turned out to be.

Mmmmm, I tend to believe it is mostly disk brake related. I was careful to put enough disk quiet on the back of the pads and still there are noises under medium braking. It sounds like the pads are loose or something. Any magical fixes I don't know about?

Are you sure it isn't suspension components due to weight transfer?

I might try putting grease on the LCA and see if that helps.
