I have a new 2022 Cadillac XT6 Sport. It has the square in the front bumper that comes out to insert a threaded recovery bolt with eyelet ending. There is even a spot in the trunk in the spare tire styrofoam for it to be stored. My dealer said there is no GM part for this and that I need to find it aftermarket. I can't find it anywhere. It is mentioned briefly in the manual on page 320.

yes it is strange...i think its a Euro thing.....i would get a few metric bolts and see what threads in, and buy accordingly on amazon they might be about all the same, lots of google hits...

Interesting. I have a few spare eye hooks. I get my XT6 tomorrow so can report back here if any of them fit.

The XT6 bristles with glaring omissions. Cargo cover, tow eye hook, massaging seats, ... Nice cars but the omissions are indeed weird.

Here is one in link but I have been told that you need to remove plug to see if they drilled and taped hole for it.I think some don't have screw hole. In the 2004 SRX I had it came with toe eye when I traded vehicle I keep because I heard around 2006 to 7 they quit selling with vehicle.
