Hi guys
anyone happen to know what is the thread on the front brake line fitting? I mean the one that the hose attaches to.
I need to buy or make a cap to isolate the wheels
I think the thread is 7/16-24 but not sure, also is it double flare?

Yes, double flared. NAPA used to have blind caps for this application. Hard to find, unless the guy behind the desk is close to retirement.

it seems to be 3/8-24 for a 3/16 hard line. No chance to find caps here in Canada. I'll have to make something with unions, bleeder screws and epoxy.

Yes, a union and the a length of line with a double flare will work. Then, crimp the line on the other side. Emergency measure when brake line fails.

i bought some unions and tapped them for a 8-32 screrrw then covered it with Permatex tank repair epoxy.
I think for 10-15 minutes it should hold. otherwise will try your method. Thanks for sharing it
