Hey guys,

Well. It's come time. I no longer have the money to repair the Cadillac anymore. I've had to replace alot of things consecutively with the car, which took alot of money that I didn't have. So many of the problems are already fixed.

The cars history is vague. I have a basic idea of (at least) what I was told. Supposedly it's always been a Pittsburgh area car. All of the trunk badges (except the crest) were previously removed, so there's no dealer ones to clarify this. It was bought in 1989 by an old man who drove at alot. Then around '97 I think, the previous owners mom bought it. She drove it for a few years, then she died. Her son took over the car. He supposedly drove it a little, then sold it to me. I don't know how legit that story was. The car was obviously garage kept most of the time becasue all of the chrome and everything is great.

I bought it in either late May or very early June of this year. I remember that I bought it like a day before prom. I always do an incredibly meticulous clean after buying a car. I was cleaning for awhile. lol. The whitewalls were all brown (UGH!!). I had to replace all kinds of stuff. The rear drum, one of the springs wasn't even connected. I don't know if it just happened or what, but wow. No brakes. They replaced something in the AC to make it work, but then the condenser crapped out anyway. We had to replace the lower main bearing or something liek that. Fix an oil leak (bad one). Replace the serpentine belt that connects everything. All sorts of things. I also put on a few add ons. The only things you'll need to do either soon or in the near future are at least both front rotors. They're out of parrallel. The pads could probably stand to be replaced then too. But also the normal ISC motor. You could look at the air ride, but it's not bad. It still works. We disconnected the condensor already, but it still burns up a little sometimes. And over the last couple days, another one of the pulleys started to screech a little. Certainly nothing major right now, but I'd get to it if you're gonna drive it. It will also need new rear ties before inspection. At least the passenger side rear is pretty low. The car is inspected in PA until either January or February. It's emissions exempt (or at least was).

The car has the 4.5. Its gas mileage is as expected. We have all hills here, so it's a bad place to test. But on the highway it just coasts and the MPG keeps rising. Again, the AC doesn't work. The heater works amazingly. haha! The rear suspension is air ride. It works. The brakes would be great after a front brake job. I replaced the headlight bulbs wit hsome new GE Nighthawk ones. They're great. A nice slight yellow but like 95% white. It has a Fram Air-Hog filter. I also put on a Dynomax Super-Turbo universal muffler with a nice chrome pipe after it. Also, upon buying it, you'll recieve the OEM headunit and all 4 speakers as well as Sony Xplod fronts (installed) and Lightning Audio rears (installed). you'll get a wiring kit for subs too already installed and routed. If you add another 150 to the price, you'll get the Pioneer MP3/CD player in the car too. It's already in there, so you'd get the car completely as is but without my subs. The front tires are brand new. I put in some generic black floormats too. The car has the velour interor. It's in great shape. The drivers seat has a tiny bit of center limpness. That's just from the driver always being in it obviously. The power windows, mirrors, and seats all work. Inside trunk release works. The power antenna actually works 100%. Up and down fully every time. The car also has the rear bumper OEM bumperette things. lol. not many of them have those. I also put in a little center console thing under the dash. The car has a cellular phone. Yes, a cellular. lol. A car phone. Not sure if it's OEM...but it's there and it works. If you wanted to activate it, it'd work. lol. The car has the padded vinyl top. It's in amazing condition. I don't know if he ever used vinyl cleaner or anything, but it's very clean. I've cleaned it ever since I got it. I'm meticulous with cleaning my car. Trust me. I would wash it every other day in the summer. Wheels, tires, body, interior, top. Every other day. I also touched up a few spots. The picutres below are from a month or so after I bought it. The mats and a few things aren't pictured.

I bought the car with 108,000 on it (ballpark). I think it has like 111,000 on it now. Besides the pulleys going bad, the engine runs well. It hesitates every once in a while from that ISC, but nothing abnormal.

I'm located in Imperial, PA...a suburb of Pittsburgh, PA. If you wanted to fly in, we would pick you up at the International Airport. We have an AAA right by us. I'm not trying to dick you over. I just cannot afford this car anymore. The car would be great for a side project (where you had a daily driver) or for a running parts car. I'm legit. If you'd like to talk to me, either do it on here, or you can IM me using AIM at iheartsnailsquad or email me at [email protected]. After you're interested/we talk, I'll give you my phone number. If anything isn't listed here, or clarified, please let me know. I'll answer it for you ASAP.

I'm not naming a price. But, please, be reasonable.

Thanks guys!

I didn't mean I was "throwing it away". Sorry if I made it sound like that. I meant that I was gonna sell it to a junk yard or trade it in for the tax reduction. However, I'd much rather not have the car be reduced to rubble. It'd be an amazing parts car. Even if you couldn't directly use it, you could part it out. I don't know. lol. All I know is I need it outa here in the next few weeks.
