First…. Congratulations on your promotion!!!! Sales Manager!!!!

Now as in your new position, you are in the know!!! And have special insight!!!! And always have your finger on the pulse….and provided great information.

So, shed some some light on the allocations???? IE, how many did your dealership receive???? VS, how many ordered??? If can’t deliver ‘23….bump in price for ‘24 ???? Lack of equipment??? Or an upgrade???

Thanks.

Crickets???? Disappointing….

We all know, how You and Lockhart, have such an influencing standing here…. And have probably, gained and influenced a few people to go with your dealership…..

Perhaps we can hear from those customers!!!

If you have an order, what’s the standing????

Thanks.

The only information we have from Cadillac is in regard to RWD units. Nothing has been allocated at this point. Production of the Debut Edition is still underway. Debut Edition production ends late next month. We do know Cadillac plans to produce volume with 2024 LYRIQ and they told us to keep taking orders as they plan to fill those orders.

I ordered a DE in September of 2021 from Lockhart. Bought a few cars there. Great dealership, and a shoutout to Nicholas Cox.

My Lyriq is set for production 9/12/22. I assume that means delivery within 2-8 weeks after? I'm told there is no way to really know.

Yep. That’s what I received from my dealer. He said 2-6 weeks though. Hopefully it’s on the shorter side

i have an AWD ordered with the May 100$ deposit. Do you know if Cadillac expects to fill all AWD deposits as a 2023 model or could some convert to 2024 depending on dealer allocation? I’m not in a rush to get my car, just curious if mine could spill into 2024 model year. Thanks!

2023 is sold out. So yes, units will be converted to 2024 because of demand.

In a semi-related note, I was just chatting with my dealership and then a live EV agent on Cadillac.com. They gave me the same information (for once). From the EV Specialist

Yes we are expected to have more information regarding the AWD this fall, but you are on for 2023 model. The AWD is still developing with information but in fall we should have all of that information for you.
The dealer basically confirmed the same thing. Oddly enough neither of them were willing to add my phone number to the Workbench order which is missing. The dealer said they couldn't modify it, and Cadillac said to tell the dealer to go through the Business Center for assistance. Such a pain....

My dealer on the workbench has my phone number as 111-111-1111, but since they called me to go through the order process and the paperwork was sent to my email, I am not really concerned.

Mine is the same (phone number). I wonder why that is? It does have my email and my dealer has my number obviously.

edit: Can dealers browse workbench orders they haven't submitted? Is there a fear of customer poaching?

It's probably the default value when nothing is entered.

If they can browse they'd get my email and you are much more likely to get my attention with an email than a cold call from a number I do not know.

OK, well that eases my concern some, as that is what mine is. Everything (address, email) is correct and the phone number shows as all 1s like yours. Maybe it's a system thing.

He has a 2023 reservation from May 18/19th I think. Doesn’t he have a pretty good chance for a 2023?
From everything I've seen, been told, that's pretty much guaranteed minus the whole FUD about allocations.

It would be interesting to know if the person that was told he was one of the 77 allocations out of 300 reservations, if the 77 actually covers the entire order set BEFORE Cadillac changed reservations to MY24.

I've been told by my dealer and by Cadillac that I am pretty much guaranteed a MY23 even though I have an AWD/Blue/Noir. With any luck I'll get the last MY23 off the production line just because, although I wouldn't mind having the first Blue/Noir one either
