I used the CTS high beam bulbs in my fogs for additional lighting power. They use the same socket type. I like pure white myself. It's why I spent the extra $$ for Xenon HIDs.

Yellow light or amber tint sunglasses greatly improves the contrast of shadows and objects during "whiteout" conditions. If you want to see in fog use yellow, if you want to look cool use white. Classic style over substance, the American way. LOL

Hey Bob if you like that purewhite output you should look into changing the stock D1S bulb you have in your HID set up, go up to a Osrams 5400K Xenon D1S-HC.

Check them out at http://www.suvlights.com

5400K will definitely give you a more pure white then the stock 4300K, and more of a blue hue as well. You'll only loose a few hundred lumens.

Koz, you're absolutely right. Learned that in the military. But us cool guys drive around fog or no fog with our Fogs on. Looks cool:D

Bishop,
I'm not up to dropping the front bumper to change the headlight bulbs. The Fogs were enough effort.
