Ruptured cases are usually caused by the pinion walking up the ring gear and torquing the case to point of explosion, not to mention that the car probably rolled at least 50 yards after the failure, chewing up the teeth the whole time. I'd hazard a guess that the internals are no good at this point.^^ if thats the case...why not just swap out the guts...assuming you just cracked your case and the internals are still good.
