I had a bad whine recently and low coolant. The dealer replaced my water pump and I was pleasantly surprised to see it helped with my whine. There's a bulletin on it.
However, I still have a whine that is quite bad in 5th at 64mph even though I told my dealer about that too. Of course this wasn't written on the RO so they tell me the noise is my exhaust, yeah right. They didn't accelerate at 62-65 in 5th.
