Only 1 complaint about my New ATS!

On my 2nd new ATS this month. Reading alot about others problems and complaints. I cant complain much about the CUE because I dont know how to use it yet :hmm: and the same goes for the climate control. One thing I know how to use is the cup holder. The cup holder holds my Big Gulps too tight. Anyone have this problem. Dont wanna drop down to the 36oz because I would have to stop for refills too often. Does anyone sell a "Big Bore" kit for these cup holders? So far so good with everything else. Cool car.

haha I can't not laugh at this problem. I have found every coffee mug I use fits nice and snug with no spillage, can't say I have tried to jam a big gulp in there, but If I did I think 32oz would suffice!

I personally love the CUE and all the features, I found it a little tough at first but now that I have it down I love the weather reports, traffic reports, XM tune select among other features!

Anything larger than a 12oz can is bad territory especially if you have a manual, and if you put two drinks side by side....forget about it. Cup holders are too close together and in a bad location, my wife has to to put her cup in the back while I keep mine in the front, just so I can shift in peace.

Can't help. I can't remember the last time there was open food or drink in one of my cars. At least 25 years though. Don't recall the year but it was right when I watched someone hit their brakes and their windshield go all mochajava.

Easy to run the climate control. Auto & set temp (coloured arrows) to whatever temp suits you (22*C )

It's also easy to run CUE. Use the home button, and choose where to go from there. There is also four hot buttons at the top for the most likely used functions. (which is customizable)

Is this a serious post? If so, I'm not so sure an ATS is the car for you. I think you would've been better off with a Toyota Camry!

I have a 07 F-150 S-Crew. 12 cup holders.2 in the dash,2 in the console,2 in the front doors,2 behind center console and 4 on the tailgate. I was a BMW Tech in the 90s and I remember when BMWs didnt come with cup holders but they offered a cup holder insert in the acessories catalog. I guess hydration isnt important to BMW.

Do Toyotas come with bigger cup holders and easier controls? With your assumtion that this is a serious post your gonna suggest a lesser car of your opinion based on what, that Cadillac owners are smarter and better class of people than Camry drivers and Im a better fit in a Camry? I guess I need to learn arrogance instead of a having any sense of humor because I drive a Cadillac. Lighten up dude.
You want others to lighten up--maybe you should too. It's all good here.

Speaking of funny places for cup holders, my '10 SRT Challenger had cup holders built in under the hood. I guess the idea was to have a place to put your favorite beverage while working on the car! :)

Hey Danj1071, how does the ATS compare to your Fusion, especially in terms of driving dynamics?

Its actually my wifes car but in my opinion the ride is pretty close between the two. The ATS does handle better but the Fusion has a longer wheel base. ATS is DEFINITELY quiter inside , has alot more power, shifts smoother and has much better braking. The Fusion definitely has more room but its also a bigger car, its more comfortable ( just my opinion), has better interior fit and finish, more features for the money than the ATS and in my opinion a better bargain for the money. I really love the Fusion but Ford really needs to work on a few refinement issues on the car like the transmission. Its terrible. At first we thought it was the her car but we gave my daughter my wifes 13 Fusion SE with the 1.6T and bought the 13 Titanium and it was the same. Seems like there are way more issues with the ATS than the Fusion.Im a Ford guy but always wanted a Cadillac so I bought the ATS as a second car for me.Kids are out of the nest except for my 9 year old so I figured its time for me to have a toy.

Man my kids have to have food and drink in the car. Its that or hear a bunch of crying. I wish I could go that route.

Under the hood. Can I put my kids in there? This is really weird to me. Does that mean you will spend a lot of time under the hood fixing it?

Its just open food and drink that's the problem. My solution was IVs for the kids. You can hang the bags from the clothing hangers over each rear door.

And since it often took me 3 or 4 tries to get the vein, they quickly prefered to do without.
