Can’t believe how these cars just missile out of the hole with the Schmidty tune. Gunna try a lightweight battery and a bit more heat to see if we can’t get into the 9.80’s in the next couple weeks.

The type of fuel used doesn’t change the fact the fuel system hardware is 100% stock. I have stock lpfp, hpfp, injectors, line, and fuel cam lobe.

Stock HPFP, stock fuel lobe cam, stock LPFP, stock injectors, no meth injection or any type of magic propping the system, no lift pump, no boost a pump.

a flex fuel sensor just allows the ECM to read ethanol content and adjust stoich and timing advance on the fly, they even come stock on many vehicles, a sensor is not a fuel system upgrade.

Saying that is fastest stock fuel system ATS-V is BS. It's running Ethanol, which is not stock, and a ton of other mods to include over 200lb of weight reduction when you include the weight of the exhaust, downpipes, intake, and seats. Saying it's the stock fuel system is a play on words because it's not running stock fuel. Raise octane = raise power, that's how its able to run higher power without fuel system changes.

If you just posted the times it is impressive but ya had to take it to far...lol

Read the comments above. The type of fuel used DOES NOT EFFECT THE HARDWARE OF THE FUEL SYSTEM, therefore it is still a completely stock fuel system.

If I take a car and build the motor, trans, and fuel but use stock turbos, is it still stock turbos? Absolutely yes it is. That's referencing Brooke's fastest stock turbo GTR. I am sorry you can't understand simple situations such as these, but your comment doesn't void the record because you can't understand it.

As for the weight, maybe that stuff is 200#. I didn't weigh the stuff I took out. That doesn't change the fact the car weighed 3750# on the starting line.

Good lord "stock fuel"? So a car no longer has a stock fuel system if its running fuel that wasnt pumped into it at the assembly line now? You realize fuel octane and quality differs all over the country and you realize basically any pump gas contains ethanol these days right?......by your logic theres no such thing as a stock fuel system.

Please enlighten me, what fuel system component was upgraded? Fuel system components such as HPFP, LPFP, inectors and fuel lobe cam, all stock.......

Changing the fuel in the tank doesnt change the fuel system for god sake

This is equivelent to claiming the bottom end isnt stock because hes running Amsoil oil in the engine or claiming his intercooler is upgraded because he runs a 60/40 water/coolant blend rather than 50/50 lol insanity

A stock part is a stock part, OPs fuel system is 100% stock.

Im not sure what his other mods or weight reduction has to do with the fuel system being stock.

Imagine being such a hater that you have to come up with ignorant ways to discredit this amazing achievement, few years ago these stock fuel systems were being "limited to 18 psi" with cars barely getting out of the 12s.

He is claiming exactly what it is, the only ATSV in the world to go 9s using a stock fuel system, weird how you are making up all these excuses like the cars got a 30k mod sheet when its got basic stuff like an intake and downpipe.

This couldnt be more wrong, in fact, the need to upgrade the fuel system becomes almost a necessity when running higher ethanol content because the stoich point of E85 is 9.8:1 while gasoline is 14.7:1, this means you need a heck of lot more fuel system to run E85 than gasoline and on the flip side, with worse fuel that wont handle high boost theres not much of a point to upgrade the fuel system at all so pretty much the exact opposite of your statement.

Thats kinda what makes it so impressive to run 9s with the stock fueling.....only one in the world to ever do it by a long shot, but you keep trying to downplay it like anyone else is remotely close with comparable mods.
