Finally, I picked up my black V last night. This car is amazing. I have not driven 05's or 04's enough to know if the wheel hop is improved, but I can say as others have that it is still there. All things considered, though, it is a great ride. I find the steering wheel a lot 'lighter' than my 1998 M3 that I used to have. The power is incredible.

Congrats on the new purchase! Let the mods begin.

I'll be interested to see some perfomance numbers for the LS2 Vs.

Have you driven an 04 or 05 V, and if so is there an improvement in the shifter?
I've driven an '05V. I don't notice any difference in the shifter. And yes, you guys are right, yesterday I thought the car was perfect the way it was, today I started thinking about what mod to do first...oh well, I have been warned.
