I have a 2014 XTS Platinum and have an IPOD and have a 32 GB SD Card w/ a ton of music on it. I've set up 60 Favorites to save songs, artist and albums. Great way to shift through what I like listening to. It seems to work fine until all my favorites get completely erased. My FM, AM and XM stations all are saved. I never disconnect my IPOD or SD card. I have to then painfully add everything back. Seems to last for a few months to several weeks and then it gets erased again. The longest it's gone is about 6 months. I can't point my finger to anything I'm doing personally or at the dealer that would point to all these getting erased. I have tried to just save stuff just from my IPOD only or from my SD card only and the same thing happens. Total erasure of the favorites. It's getting me frustrated and annoyed.

Any chance, you've seen this. If so, what's the fix. I've tried different SD cards, USB Sticks and even an older IPOD. Same results. I think there's a bug in the software or firmware. Asked the dealer and they looked at me cross-eyed.

Thanks in advance for any feedback!
Eric

Yes, it's probably a bug that will never get fixed in the XTS since the XTS is history. Just another example of leaving the owners high and dry. Ford bent over backwards fixing MyFord Touch for it's customers. I wish Cadillac would have done the same with CUE.

Welcome to CUE. Mine does that occasionally. There is no fix that I am aware of. GM just doesn't seem to care. My lease is up later this year and I'm looking for other cars that have CUE functionality. So far I haven't seen any cars that can store phone numbers, artists, songs, playlists, or destinations on favorites buttons. I've only seen other cars that store radio stations on their favorites buttons. CUE is ahead of its time but does have some bugs.

Add me to the list...has anyone NOT touched/reset the shaded favorite to see if it comes back? I've noticed that after a restart, (or two) all of my shaded out favorites will come back! I've learned NOT to mess with my favorites at this point to keep my sanity!

All my favorites tied to my SD card disappeared today. They didn't come back after 3 starts today so I reloaded them myself. I only bother with playlists now. It's easy to tell the voice system to play an artist. It almost always works.

Now this I wasn't expecting: Today on my way home, I was flipping through my favorites and half of my XM stations were faded out! Ooo, they better come back tomorrow, I spent a lot of time renaming all of them:/
