Okay...maybe a little off topic but with summer here and planned road trips what do you guys like to listen to while on the road.

I am a little old school and love the hard rock /blues kinda of music. (wife doesn't.. :rant2:)

Favorite artist stored on the HDD - Great White

Just curious as to others what they like...

I always seem to gravitate towards the Doobie Brothers, Tom Petty, Eagles, Eric Johnson, INXS...dang, you've got me daydreaming about a road trip now!

Since my road trips are done in my older RWD Cadillacs, I tend to favor light classical, esp. Spanish guitar.

Sir, If I had spent 60 some thing thousand dollars for a 2010 CTS V, I would prefer to listen just to the sound of 556 HP engine! :D

This is how the story ends. MEGADETH. Endgame.

Somebody has some good tastes. I like to put on some Iron Maiden, Sepultura(their live CD is freaking awesome), Pantera, Children of Bodom, Testament, Atreyu, Mastadon, All that Remains, Five Finger Death Punch, Destroy Destroy Destroy, maybe some Dragonforce if I'm feeling really sleepy lol.

I also like to break out Pink Floyd: The Wall. Everybody says Dark Side of the Moon is their best work, but I prefer the more epic nature of The Wall.

If I ever get metaled out, I do enjoy classical. Not harp music, but the symphony.

I actually enjoy road tripping to Metallica's S&M album. It's nearly perfect. :cloud9:

Of course, being a child of the 70's and 80's, I listen to all the hard rock/heavy metal of those decades with KISS being my all time favorite but lately I can't stop listening to this song by Angels and Airwaves:

I prefer Pink Floyd as a whole for long drives. The long, flowing albums really make the miles go by. ESPECIALLY The Wall, as it's a 30 song, double sided masterpiece that runs atleast 2.5 hours long.
