Very happy with the way the extinguisher turned out. Fits into the square cavity in the trunk very nicely. Peace of mind also. The braided hose turn out good not great. I'm a perfectionist and rarely am I satisified with bolt-on dress up pieces. It does look more polished but not quite as nice as I had hoped. Radiator hose was a bitch to get covered. Other than the catch can hoses, radiator hose and one stray coolant return hose there isn't much else you can cover. All in all a couple of nice, quick and cheap bolt-ons.

BTW - the extinguisher is a nice piece for $24 delivered. Another eBay special!

I did a little "before and after" portfolio for yah!

Looks great!!! Just be carefull when drilling or attaching something to that square in the trunk. There is an amp or something that looks like an amp right behind it. I almost put a 4" screw striaght through into that amp. I was mounting my Kicker 600.1 in that same location.

Yes. I saw that too. I pulled the sill plate, bottom and side panel out to mount the extinguisher. I actually used a bolt and nut to mount it vs. a self threading screw. It's very sturdy and no rattle.

That BMR Strut Tower Brace sure would look good powder coated red. Hmmm, so would my TB/MAF pipe. And the fuse box and radiator cover, something must be done with those.

more to come.......

I highly recommend a Halon extinguisher. Dry chemical extinguishers are extremely corrosive to aluminum and other metals. If you discharge it near computers, wiring, or any of the other expensive things in our cars, sell it right away. It's a mess to clean the residue and the damage will occur over time. I recommend a web search for more info, then make your decision. The Halon is more expensive and is harmful to the environment.......BUT.

Here's an example

Did a little more work on the V today. Found a screw in my passenger side rear tire. It was 2.25 inches long and was embedded head first not threads first. NEVER have I seen that before. I notice I was leaking about a pound of pressure every 5 minutes or so. Brought her home and plugged it fine. Decided to remove all the wheels, clean, wax and rotate them all.

Next purchase is the first aid kit for the other side of the trunk. Ordered the GM unit tonight. I remember someone posting pix of one installed using velcro so I plan on copying that.

Where's the info on the GM first aid kit sir?
The GM First Aid kit was a bust. The kit is a joke. It's a black vinyl piece of shit that I wouldn't have paid $5 bucks for. Unfortunately I bought two sight unseen at $20 a pop. What a waste. Still looking for a kit.
