I would definitely try to get the one from the dealer. They are honestly the best warrantys and you will have the least amount of hassles. Prices will vary but you can definitely shop around for it. You can check with multiple dealers. You don't have to buy it from dealer where you buy your vehicle and the price is definitely negotiable.

I personally don’t buy extended warranty because when things break I usually pay and repair or trade. I also don’t keep my vehicles longer than 5-6 years.

I guess it’s a personal choice and peace of mind.

Just purchased 23 Lux premium CPO with 7k miles and went ahead with the extended bumper to bumper warranty from Cadillac (8 year / 100k mile) for $2300. I think it’s absolutely worth it if you plan to keep the car beyond its manufacture warranty.
