ALL aftermarket extended warranties are scams. They take your money then they rely on the fine print to not cover items. Buy GMPP (General Motors Protection Plan) or save your money for when it breaks.jerrycecco said:Well it's time I need to put an extended waranty on my CTS-V, I live in northern California.

Take the warranty back to the dealer and see what they will give you for it.Skeeter said:Yeah, no way would I pay that much! Damn dealer!
Like I said, I bought an 8 year, 100k mile, ZERO deductable warranty for a touch over $3k. If you want, I'll dig up my paperwork and give you the exact #s.
I wouldn't touch an aftermarket warranty provider. Seen too many people burned, and WAY too much hassle. Extend through a GM warranty or not at all.
Speaking of not at all, I'm sorta thinking I should have kept the standard warranty, and when it ran out I'd have NOTHING holding me back from bolting on a Maggie, Laughing Gas, and full exhaust. Mwahahahahah! The warranty makes modding far less appealing.
