Ext Interior

Wassup everyone...I just purchased a EXT and I want to know if anyone has their dash painted...I'm thinking about having it done when I get back from Iraq...I have a black ext with the gray interior...I was thinking of get the dash and center console done in black with the luxury gauge kit cuz and maybe some 24'' dvinci havocs in black...anybody know where to get good suede inserts on the east coast...get at me

People have done something like that to their interiors. I do not know specifically for the Escalade. I would like the dashboard and steering wheel to match the shale interior. http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/search.php?searchid=836701

I've heard that some sort of dye are used to penetrate color into the plastic, vinyl, and even leather. Type "vinyl, leather, dye" in a search engine and see what you can find.

yeah I heard from this guy out here that it be taken apart and have it spayed with some kind of vinyl solution...if I find out anything I'll let you know...checking the search engine...

There are sprays that they sell in america that can do that. I made my interior black myself.

Did you just do the dash and steering wheel? Or did you do the leather? I saw an Escalade and it had black leather interior. It looks hot and they had the cadillac logo in color on the headrests.

lots of people have had their dashes painted. just take the time (or spend the money) to have it sanded smooth before you paint it and it will last a lot longer.

I had the wood kit peices refinished in a blue and black marblized swirl, on the steering wheel as well and on the seat controls. Looks nice, its clean and not over the top.
