Just curious - my Lux trim level does not come with these shocks, but I was curious if there was anyone out there with the Premium package who has put 50K mi+ on their car, and how the MR shocks are holding up.

Next time around, I might want to try MR. I typically put 140K mi+ on my cars before I trade them in, and it would be nice to know if I could expect them to last the life of the car (at least while I have it).

This generation of MR shocks are new. And ATS is a new model too. So you may not find a premium ATS with 140k miles on it to see how these shocks last. That being said, previous generation MR systems have been on cars such as 2002.5-2003 Seville STS, Cadillac STS, second gen CTS-V, first gen SRX, and they easily last more than 100k miles. However, the road condition matters too. That being said, I am not sure about 140kmiles. Even regular shocks usually may not last that long!

I have an 2005 STS and replaced my front MRC struts at 190,000. Rear totally shot at 211,000. Just replaced those

Interesting - Hopefully the current gen is as good as your 2005!

Don't have them on any of my current vehicles but I did on a previous one (Mitsubishi 3000 GT), and they were still going strong when I sold the car with well over 100,000 miles.
