Hello caddy lovers,
After shutting off my 95 seville, there is a ping sound comming from what i believe is the muffler. It sounds like something is falling from the top of the muffler and hitting the bottom inside of the muffler. That doesnt make sense, so is it just the muffler cooling down, or what? Peace!

Yeah - I'd say it's just the engine and exhaust system cooling - different types and thickness of metal cooling at different rates can cause some intersting (and expensive sounding) sounds that are generally of no consequence -

You should hear my exhaust system cooling down. My friend welded my magnaflows on and did a poor job if I do say so myself (I'm an even worse welder so I can't say anything.) Probably a few cubic inches worth of air bubbles in the welds.

No, it's cloth seats that it's hard to get it out of! Leather is easy to clean! To make a long story short, my dog left a nasty mess in the back of a '04 Deville rental car that only had 10k miles on it! Wooo, was I glad that cleaned up perfectly!

Reason number 378 not to buy a used rental car! :cheers:
