Hey guys my 1992 Seville 4.9 has one muffler can this be correct? My 1993 had 2 mufflers where do I get exaust that is as quiet as a mouse I hate it to be loud.

The heat shield is on the right spot but this 1992 has some weird stuff on it wires, codes, no horn ?, 2 different garage door openers, and a alarm that I took out and put a new one in, just got a new battery. Please help I require assistance. What brand of pipes and mufflers to be quiet?

The 4.9L in 1992 came with either single pipe or dual pipe exhaust, but both had only one muffler. All 1993 Northstar Seville/Eldorado had dual mufflers, dual tips.
Try a muffler shop or parts store depending if you want to do it yourself or not. Any OEM style system will be quiet.

What do "wires, codes, no horn ?, 2 different garage door openers" have to do with a heat shield? Some punctuation would help to follow your posts!

Actually I used a Z28 muffler on my 1992 Eldorado. Very little modification to the entering pipe. Both exits were turned down as the original single was because mine did not have the dual cut-outs in the rear valance.
