you have to take two spots now days, i had my cts less then a month and someone slammed there door into my car and i was pissed

Have a friend who owns a new SRX had a habit of taking two parking spots. About a month ago he came back to the parking lot following dinner at a really busy restaurant, having taken his customary two slots - someone had keyed it from front to rear & kicked a really big dent in the driver's door.
I just got my cts in January, I love it and it's not going anywhere for a long time, til i'm ready to trade it on another one.
Plus, i've worked my butt off to get where i'm at and i spent many years drivin beater cars and then minivans while raisin a family. This is probably the nicest car i've every owned and i earned, it's too bad that people are so short sighted and think that if you have a nice car your some kind of privileged jerk.
I always park at the back of the lot to stay away for other cars, but I don't believe in taking up multiple parking spaces. To me it just screams "look at me, i'm a pretentious ahole with a fancy car." Trashin someone's car though is a lowlife, pos maneuver.
