I sent a pic to my wife and she thinks it's kick ass. She keeps asking me if I am thinking about buying it. I submitted a finance request through my bank but we will see. She said if I buy it, we have to take it to car shows.

I said if you let me buy it I will get a chauffeur hat and gloves...

I noticed the rims too; I have seen the same rims and tires on up armored vehicles in Afghanistan. My wife is in love with it, she thinks it super cool.

Damn you Eric! Congratulations! You have been approved for financing. I almost made a bad mistake and said I would trade in 2007. Changed my mind quick like and I am just going to buy it outright. I can't part with my baby. Too many years of blood, sweat and tears in that truck. My wife is ecstatic and is so excited.

For some kids they all go to a house and hang out because of a trampoline, a pool, a bowling alley or archery range. Your kid is going to have the popular house and parents because they have a limo ride to all the dances and proms for life.

Tires. Understated with in 17” or 20” rims. I’d say run flat tires. Smart move, we considered one back in 06. There’s no chassis cut and it’s well within its limits.

BTW, you can drink alcohol in back with a livery or other driver . Nice pull!

We needed another vehicle like a hole in the head but it is pretty kick ass. When my wife went to the website and saw it was ESV length and not stretched, she wanted it. I wish it had 4 seats in the back but it's alright for what we are going to use it for.

We are going to Orlando but not Disney this time. We are staying the Cabana Bay Beach Resort: Universal Orlando. Going to City Walk and Disney Springs to eat.

Spending one day swimming with the dolphins and feeding flamingoes at Discovery Cove: All-Inclusive Family Resort in Orlando, Florida | Discovery Cove

Then going to the Port for a cruise to the Bahamas on Royal Caribbeans Independence of the seas.

Today they are coming to put up my 4-car carport!!!

Sounds like Disney season passes to me.

I grew up in central Florida and love Disney but I can buy 3 Season Passes for Universal with my military discount with no blackout dates for less than one Disney Pass. We loved Volcano Bay and my son keeps saying he wants to go back. Spiderman is his favorite character and he wants to see him again too.

The black one is in unknown condition.. it is nice to think that a 46k mile truck might be unmolested and super clean.. though you never really know until you check it out. It coulda been used as a drug mule for a couple years or who knows what... seems reasonably priced for what it is.. but they have had it in inventory for 5 months.. might be cherry or could be a disaster. Time to call someone you know in the area to check it out

It wouldn't take me but a weekend to go over it, change all the fluids and probably belts. Load test the battery and just do a good check over. Our daughter asked the same question, what if you get it and it needs work? My wife said your dad just got done rebuilding the white one and it would be worth it. She thinks it would be cool to take it to car shows and show it off.

The deal for the Limo fell thru, I spent just about all day going back and forth with the dealership on price. I told them what my bank would loan me and what I would pay out of pocket, we could not come to an agreeable price. I may still hear back from them but we were still at a 3 thousand dollars difference. It would have been cool but it is what it is.

I sent them one more offer, I doubt they will take it but it's one more try because my wife really loves that truck. She offered to trade in her Hummer but that's going to happen.

I am, the max USAA would loan is $21. The VIN does not reflect it's a limo so that's the main issue. They were stuck on the VIN says this we can't go any higher. I can pay what they want but I'm not going too. I like the back and forth haggle really. I figure I could offer $1500 more and get it, I offered $500 and pay my own tag. I'll see what they say. I will more than likely end up buying it just because the wife really likes it and was kinda heartbroken when I stopped dealing.

Well, it's the wife's and she will let me drive her around. Looks like I need to buy the tux tee shirt and chauffeur hat.

I ordered me a new hat. I kind of like that moto. I ordered my Tux T-shirt too. My wife thinks I'm crazy. Well sort of.

Quit posting cool stuff. You made me buy my wife a Limo. Thanks! She is already in love with it.

Her first text this morning was love you and have a great day. Within 3 seconds the next test was I was looking at limos last night after you went to bed and I just don't see another I like as much as that one. She didn't know at the time I was still working on the deal. I finally had to tell her because she would see lots of money leaving the account.

We did a face time and it has a few places on the outside that need to be touched up. 2 scratches on the back bumper and a little crease on the right-side rear door. Overall, the truck is in really good condition. He showed me that everything works. Even the seat blowers and heaters work!!

Good thing it doesn't show as a limo with the VIN or your insurance would probably be a lot higher.

I have a week to get all the fluids and belts. I'm going to do a complete front to back service on her probably next weekend after it arrives. One good thing is the airbag recall is already done.

Ha, it's not going anywhere!!
I had entertained the thought of either trading it in on the Limo or selling it outright but I just can't do either with all the hard work I have put into it and all the new parts. I know that truck from top to bottom and the car place told me they could not give me even close to what I think it's worth. Max was maybe $7-10 grand trade in.

It will be great to take on our vacations for me, my wife and our son or just around town. But it only seats 4, 2 in the front and 2 in the back. We can fit 7 in the white one and there are times we take 6 or 7 people going out to eat or whatever. My wife also takes her sister and 3 kids around when they come to visit the mom in-law so we need seating capacity.
