I've got a 05 V with an LS6. There are two big wiring connectors on the side of the engine bay, above the alternator. Anyone have the pin out for these two connectors? (Are these the "engine to body harness" connectors?) I've got the full 05 wiring diagram but I'm having trouble finding these connectors.

See pic below. As you can see, the yellow wire (#8 or "H", I believe) is broken. I've unplugged the whole connector while the car is running and three things happen: I get a service security system message and my oil, water and trans temp readings blank out.

that looks like it! Thanks. Looks like the yellow one I broke is Crank Voltage. I wonder what that does. I can disconnect the new connection I made and it doesn't seem like anything happens.

ah, that provides a better understanding. It's cranking voltage
