My last lease was an Infiniti Q50 for my wife. If the inspector could cover it with a credit card, there was no excessive damage. She had a good sized curb rash on one wheel (about 7" long). He said it would be a $50 excess damage fee.

If you buy or lease another, they waive darn near anything. Infiniti even offered to pay the last couple months of the lease payments if we bought another. We started shopping early. We did purchase a QX50.

Get your inspection done as early as you can so you know what you're looking at long before it's time to turn it in!

I think you're ok. My last lease, I had a couple of curb rashes about 2-3 inches long and I wasn't charged anything (normal wear and tear). Just make the car is cleaned inside and outside when they come and do the inspection.

Nothing normal about 2-3 inch rash you were lucky.
I see rim damage in the dealership for lease returns. Get ready for a rim sandwich.
You might want to get the part number and see if you can get them cheaper.
