Hello...
It also took me around 300 miles so the system was "ready".
Just drive the car for a few days and be sure not to disconnect the battery as this, too, will render the car as "not ready to test".
Think about it...if all anyone had to do to pass their emission test is reset their computer, then ALL CARS WOULD PASS- even those that should not.
It is just a system of "checks and balances".
Post back what you discover.
