Emergency! Power Steering Reservoir Nipple Broke

2006 Cadillac DTS

I accidentally broke off the part of the power steering reservoir nipple where the hose is attached. Is there a way to temporarily fix this until I can get a new pump/reservoir?? I have somewhere to be in about 12 hours and I kinda HAVE to be there.

Please if anyone has any ideas please let me know. Thank you!!

MAYBE some JB Weld might work temporarily, but I have my doubts, and you don't have time to let it cure anyway.

I would have tried super glue and baking soda. The latter cures the glue instantly and creates a super-strong bond. You can do as many layers as needed, just make sure to clean the parts before gluing them.

I know it's too late unless she still haven't fixed it but I would go to AutoZone, O'Reilly's, Ace or Home Depot and gotten a brass nipple with threads on the other end and screwed it in with some threadlocker. would have been fixed in a couple of minutes.
